A QUIET HOUSE IN BELGIUM

Project of a single-storey house of 150 m2. Belgian interiors by Vincent Van Duysen were the inspiration and support for the design. The idea was to create an atmosphere of a quiet flow of country life in a warm multi-layered interior. The project is based on the theme of ecology and meaningful living. Refined modernism brings a sense of peace and balance. The project uses a neutral palette with contrasting collectible furniture and art exhibits. The ceiling and part of the walls are made in the technique of ancient brickwork. Painted milk-colored bricks are turned at an angle, which creates a rhythm on the accent wall.
